The party has arrived in Saltmarsh, a small fishing town of about 2,000 people on the southern coast of Keoland. Rumours speak of a haunted house four miles east of town � an old alchemist's mansion abandoned twenty years ago, now the source of fearsome hauntings and eerie lights. The townsfolk are too frightened to investigate, but would be grateful to anyone brave enough to uncover the truth.
